Now we know that the computer monitor flywheel acceleration rate and if one cylinder is missing it stores a misfire code. Conveniently the emission standard of all OBDII car computers require very careful misfire monitoring. Doing a precise dyno test is very difficult given the magnitude of effect expected here, so we need an alternative. I believe in testing and not guessing and I think that one can do an easy experiment here to address this issue with very simple equipment. ![]()
